Too Much TV

Here's a link to an interesting article. It states that the world today is actually safer and freer from conflict than in the recent past. The number of armed conflicts is actually lower. I actually had this realization myself just last week when it occurred to me that if I just didn't watch TV, my world seems pretty clear of conflict and anxiety provoking occurrences. The mass media is the culprit (and Bush).

What a great weekend it was! We celebrated the birthdays of Linnell, Leslie, Rick and Tom by being chauffeured around in a limousine. We went wine tasting, enjoyed the apple harvest festivities, had a great dinner with drinks at Poor Red's, and visited Rick and Carolyn's property. A really wonderful day.
